Disable Indexing Service In Windows XP And Save CPU And RAM

Indexing service in Windows XP is programmed to keep a log of all the new and old files so that you can get quick results once you search for some file. But in normal case its not Much usefull, you can disable it to save CPU and RAM space

n Control Panel under Administrative Tools double-click on Services icon and then browse to Indexing Service. Double-click on it and from the Indexing Service Properties choose disabled as startup type.



Click ok and just restart .
